WCAG 2.0 (W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)

Content produced to the VET E-standards must meet:

• WCAG 2.0 Level AA, that is, all criteria for Level A plus those in Level AA

• A customizable quick reference to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 requirements (success criteria) and techniques: W3C - How to Meet WCAG 2.0 (Opens in new window)
• Understanding Conformance and Accessibility Supported Technologies: W3C - Understanding WCAG 2.0 (Opens in new window)

Note: The E-standards for Training endorse a technology neutral application of WCAG 2.0 and therefore an accessibility supported use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JavaScript, Flash, PDF and PDF Forms, on the understanding that materials created using these formats have to meet the accessibility conformance requirements of WCAG 2.0 AA and also have an applicable accessible alternative.
