National Training Information Service (NTIS)
The NTIS site provides certification and accreditation information about National Training Packages, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), accredited courses, competency standards and a range of training package information. Vetadata has adopted the NTIS codes and names for competencies as a vocabulary to describe competency.

AQF is a unified system of thirteen national qualifications in schools, vocational training and education, and the higher education sector. The VET metadata application profile, Vetadata, has adopted the AQF titles as a vocabulary to describe education level.

National Council for Vocational Education Research (NCVER)
NCVER produces the VOCED database which is an online research database referencing worldwide VET research papers. The VOCED thesaurus is an important Australian VET vocabulary. NCVER also produce the AVETMISS reporting standard for coding discipline groups. The VET metadata application profile, Vetadata, has adopted the VOCED vocabulary to describe research and policy disciplines.

AEShareNet
A collaborative national initiative to make VET materials more readily available for sale, sharing and reuse. AEShareNet has developed a range of free and commercial licenses for learning materials, and provides information on copyright and licensing. The VET Learning Object Repository Network incorporates the AEShareNet licences in its digital rights management process.
