The New Generation Technologies for Learning business activity incorporates E-standards for Training and is a project of the National VET E-learning Strategy (Opens in new window). Under the auspices of the E-standards Expert Group, we research technologies then, based on research and expert advice - develop, recommend and maintain technical standards. In addition, we provide support for the implementation of these standards in the Australian vocational education and training (VET) sector.
The business activity works towards ensuring that practitioners have access to a broad range of online learning resources that are re-usable and adaptable, easily discovered, reviewed and obtained, readily transferred to different delivery platforms, and accessible to users across state borders and sectoral boundaries.
